LAHORE: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday said that the issue of border management was raised during their visit but Afghan leadership did not give any positive response.
Talking to media in Lahore, Speaker National Assembly said that Pakistan was raising 1,000 posts along the border for monitoring it.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said border fencing was in the best interest of both the countries to stop illegal cross border movement.
He added that Pakistan had taken serious notice of Chaman incident. To a question, he said Peace in the region was linked with the peace in Afghanistan.
He added the government would complete its tenure and next general elections will be held according the schedule.
