LAHORE: PCB Chairman Shaheryar Khan has said that Pakistani team will visit India to play World T20 match, adding that ICC and the Indian government is responsible for security issues, while he called Afridi to talk to him rather than media, if he wanted to play after World Cup.
Talking to media in Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, Chairman PCB said that government has allowed PCB to send national team to India, while Indian government and ICC is responsible for security of team. Shaheryar Khan said that if Shahid Afridi wanted to play after World Cup then Afridi must talk to him rather than media. He further said that PCB never pressurize any player for retirement, but board will decide whether to allow Afridi to play as Captain or player, but first Afridi will have to contact PCB.
Shaheryar further said that national team had to face defeat due to failure of batting line. National Cricketers must learn from batting of Virat Kohili.
