ISLAMABAD: Following the chronic price hike in flour, the prices of sugar have also been increased and another crisis gripped the government.
According to details, despite the passage of four days of start of crushing season the ex-mill rate of sugar has been increased by Rs 5 that climbed the wholesale prices in market Rs 74 per kg and retail prices at Rs 80 per kg.
A sudden increase in sugar prices created an opportunity for profiteers and hoarders to stock sugar but ironically administration seems silence.
