Lahore (May 10, 2018): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal will be discharged from the Services Hospital Lahore within two days, said doctors.
The doctors said that Ahsan Iqbal’s wounds were healing gradually and his condition is better. Ahsan Iqbal will be shifted to home within two days, they added. 
Earlier PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday visited the Services Hospital and inquired after Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
Sharif prayed for fast recovery of Mr Iqbal. The former prime minister remained in the hospital for a while and also met the family members of the minister.
Ahsan Iqbal was shot at and injured on Sunday last in his home district Narowal at a public meeting. According to doctors, Iqbal is recovering fast.
The five-member medical board treated the fractured arm of Mr Iqbal in a four-hour surgical procedure early on Monday. According to Services Institute of Medical Sciences Principal Prof Mahmood Ayaz, the bullet injured Mr Iqbal’s right arm above the elbow, fracturing lower arm bone and affecting right lower abdomen.
