ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday released a written order on plea seeking suspension of sentence on medical grounds for former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
The written order was released by Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani.
IHC issued notice to provincial home ministry, Punjab government and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) seeking reply on the petition till February 12.
The high court directed to provide Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports to the petitioner and NAB additional prosecutor.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the medical board was formed over recommendations of Punjab government. however, the provincial authorities were issued notice despite not being party in the case.
The hearing was adjourned till February 12.
