LAHORE: A District and Session Court Lahore on a petition of fame singer Ali Zafar consul has directed to complete trial of the defamation suit against Meesha Shafi until April 15.
Additional session judge Shakeel Ahmed heard the defamation suit against singer Meesha Shafi.
Ali Zafar’s counsel Rana Intazar argued that the defamation suit has been under trial for one year adding that Meesha Shafi with various tactics kept on delaying the case.
Rana Intazar requested the court that verdict in the case should be given in coming one month as the Meesha Shafi allegations have damaged the credibility of his client, Ali Zafar.
The consul also argued the court to order to Meesha Shafi to pay Rs One billion as defamation.
