ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Thursday said that the anti-corruption body has taken serious measures to bring back corrupt elements from abroad to recover the looted amount from them.
Addressing the NAB operations and prosecution division officers, the chairman NAB Javed Iqbal said that all the corrupt elements would be brought to justice adding that corruption is a hurdle in the way of development of the country.
Chairman NAB Javeed Iqbal said that the NAB has a belief that corruption could be eradicated from the country from effective strategy under the vision of corruption free Pakistan.
The Chairman directed the NAB officers to fulfill their responsibility on merit with honesty, hard work and dedication.
He once again reminded that the anti-corruption body is striving hard to return back public hard-earned money to them looted by illegal housing societies while the NAB has distributed up to one billion rupees to victims of the illegal housing societies so far.
