ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Special Assistant (PMSA) on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza has said that all the resources will be used to for the prevention and treatment of dengue.
The PMSA on health chaired a huddle on the dengue outbreak wherein federal secretary health, Director General (DG) health, executive directors of all four hospital of Islamabad and administration of twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi were in attendance.
On the occasion, the administration of twin cities and the executive directors of hospitals briefed the meeting.
Dr. Zafar Mirza said that the administration of twin cities along with health ministry all committed for eradication of the dengue adding that the patients of dengue have been provided with free medical facilities while the situation of the disease in control.
He said that he is himself monitoring health facilities for the dengue treatment in the hospitals adding that the ministry is focusing on all the union councils of the twin cities while the hospital of the area provide patients data to surveillance teams and surveillance teams visit the area for spray to eradicate the disease.
The PMSA further said that all the resources will be used for the prevention and treatment of the disease.
