Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said that his party observing the black day over amendments in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) by the coalition government.
Holding a presser in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that Sharif and Zardari family are taking another NRO by amending the NAB laws adding that the PML-N took its first NRO from Pervez Musharraf and now it is taking another NRO.
He said that with this NRO all cases on Sharif family and Zardari family ended adding that by amending the NAB ordinance Sharif family and Zardari have been given benefits.
The former information minister said that the NAB section 14 abrogated under which an accused had to provide evidence of prohibited cash, under the new laws the definition of assets have been changed.
He added that amendment in section 21 of the NAB laws will end Maryam Nawaz Avon field case, with the amendment Khwaja Saad Rafiuqe will also be benefitted in the Ashyana case. While an amendment in section 4 Raja Pervez Ashraf and Shahid Khaqan Abbassi will be benefitted.
He apprised that the NAB independent authority has been ended and it is given under the administration of the interior ministry.
The former minister further said that Khurram Dastagir has apprised the reason behind the change of the government and confessed that the Imran Khan government ousted to avoid the accountability.
He said that the current government used to say that owing to previous government agreements inflation increased.

Fawad Chaudry said that Imran Khan is a symbol of uniting while he thanked the people who despite rains left their houses on the call of Imran Khan.
He said that the people have rejected ‘the imported government’ adding that incompetent and unqualified government don’t know what to do?. We are now afraid where they would lead to the country.
He expressed fear that they will lead to country towards Sri Lanka like situation .
He said that verdicts of all the cases against PML-N, PPP would announced but the cases of worth of Rs1100 billion will no more remain under the ambit of the NAB. Sharif and Zardari families have been given benefits.
He added that for the benefit of the panama cases special amendments have been made as well.
Fawad Chaudhry said that now investigations or probe on assets on the name of of children, wives and others will not be conducted.
