MEXICO: The notorious drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” has been found guilty of all 10 federal criminal counts against him by an American court.
As per details, the Mexican crime lord known as El Chapo has been convicted after a three-month drug trial in New York that exposed the inner workings of his cartel, which shipped tons of drugs into the United States over decades.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2015, El Chapo fled from the prison he was kept captive in.
Previously, a Federal District Court of American city Brooklyn took up the case where prosecutors presented a mountain of evidence against the cartel leader, including testimony from 56 witnesses, 14 of whom once worked with Mr Guzmán.
