Web Desk (August 13, 2018): England’s fast bowler James Anderson has became the first bowler to take 100 wickets in Lord’s cricket ground.
On the 4th Day of the second test match between England and India, James Anderson achieved the 100th test wickets at Lord’s. James Anderson’s also picked up 550th test wickets when Bairstow caught Vijay behind the stumps.
Earlier, Sri-Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralidharan is the first bowler to take a total of 100 wickets at any ground. Muralidharan scored 100 wickets in total 800 test matches at Gaal, Candy and Colombo grounds.
England thrashed India by an innings and 159 runs to win the second Test at Lord’s on Sunday, and now have a lead of 2-0 against India.
James Anderson took a total of 9 wickets in Lord’s test match against India.
