ISLAMABAD: The electricity users are likely to face another hike in power prices as the government is planning to increase electricity rates.
The consumers will have to bear an additional load of Rs17.28 billion due to the increased pricing.
According to details, an application seeking a hike in electricity prices has been submitted in the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra).
The Nepra will hear the petition on November 20.
The electricity prices will likely to be increased on account of quarterly adjustments.
