LAHORE: The Saaf Pani, Drinking water, company has damaged apiece corruption charge as another case of alleged fraud surfaced on Thursday when Punjab Public Accounts Committee revealed that officials of the company visited abroad using state exchequer.
According to details, the Saaf Pani officials have visited China, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Thailand and they also received TA and DA.
The audit report has also revealed that the officials of the company have kept the then chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in dark and visited abroad time and again.
The names of Waseem Ajmal, Zaheerudin, Tahir Maqbool, Aysia Ubaid and Hina Ibrar surfaced who used national exchequer illegally.
