Web Desk(August 16, 2018): Oscar winner Viola Davis is starring in the new film Widows that tells the story of four women with nothing in common except a debt left behind by their dead husbands’ criminal activities.
The movie’s backdrop takes place in contemporary Chicago, amid a time of turmoil. Tensions build when Veronica, played by Viola Davis, takes her fate into her hands and conspires with the other women to forge a future on their own terms.

Four women take matters into their own hands when their husbands unexpectedly perished with unfinished criminal activities in “Widows”. Hunted by their late husbands’ client who pressed on the responsibility of paying the debt their husbands left, the characters of Davis, Rodriguez, Debicki, and Erivo join forces to outwit the crime lords preying on them and move on with their own terms.
