WASHINGTON: United Nations chief Antonio Guterres welcomed Pakistan’s decision to release Indian pilot Abhi Nandan and suggested both nations to resolve their conflict via dialogues here on Saturday.
According to details, UN’s secretary-general welcomed Pakistan’s decision to release Indian Airforce officer Abhi Nandan who was captured during an intrusion attempt near Line of Control (LoC) by the security forces and wished to listen even more good news from both countries.
He said, “Both countries should de-escalate the tensions among them via dialogues and offers to mediate between Pakistan and India.”
