Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday filed a petition for exemption from appearance before the court in Avenfield reference.
Maryam Nawaz in his petition through his counsel opined that she as a vice-president of the PML-N is busy in the election campaign in Azad Jammu and Kashmir election and not able to appear before the court, however, her representative will appear in her place.
She pryaed the court to give her exemption before the appearing before the court in the avion-field reference.
It is pertinent to mention here that the hearing of appeals against punishment to Maryam Nawaz and capt (retd) Safdar in the panama reference will be held tomorrow.
