Apple Inc, To Introduce New ‘RED’ Edition of iPhone Today

Webdesk (April 9, 2018): One of the most iconic phones of 2017, Apple’s iPhone 8 and 8 Plus lineup is set to add a new member in the family in ‘RED’ colour today, The new colour is the part of Partnership between Apple Inc, and (RED), an advocacy group dedicated to combating HIV/AIDS in Africa.

According to the MacRumors reports, the virgin mobile memo says that the new edition of iPhone will be available through pre-order only in iPhone 8 and 8 Plus while there is no sign of RED edition to come in iPhone X yet.
Previously, Apple has already released (RED) editions in different range of products in which the last successor was iPhone 7 launched on 24th March of last year.

The product ‘RED’ was founded in 2006 by U2 frontman Bono and ONE Campaign activist Bobby Shriver and licensed its name to other private companies to highlight efforts to combat HIV/AIDS in eight African countries including Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, and Zambia.
