Islamabad (October 05, 2017): Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has rejected the reports that the was deadlock between Prime Minister and him over appointment of new Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
In a statement issued here, Shah said that there was no deadlock over appointment of chairman NAB with government.
He said that the process of consultation with Prime Minister over the appointment of new head of the anti-graft body was moving ahead smoothly.He said that it would be premature to say about rejection or acceptance of any name for the key post.
Shah said that till now there was no deadlock between him and Prime Minister in their consultation.
He said that some quarters gave the impression there was a deadlock, which was nothing but an absurd joke.
The veteran PPP leader said that accepting any proposed name or reject was premature, adding that he would further consult with Prime Minister over the name for the key appointment.
