ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister and Army Chief discussed issues of national security.
Army Chief General Bajwa said that Pakistan Army would come up to the expectations of the nation for defending the country and its frontiers.
Meanwhile, the Army Chief also called on President Mamnoon Hussain. The President congratulated the Army Chief on assuming the command of Pakistan Army. He remarked that Army Chief’s professional capabilities would help make Pakistan defence’s impregnable.
The President said that action on National Action Plan must be continued for restoration of complete peace in the country.
