RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the concluding ceremony of the Army Band Competition 2017 and distributed prizes among the winners in Lahore, ISPR said in its release.
Bands from 15 regimental centres, 19 infantry battalions, including buglers and trumpeters from Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Rangers participated in the event, ISPR said.

Frontier Force Regimental Centre bagged the President’s Military Brass Band Trophy, the Artillery Regimental Centre was the runner-up while Army Services Corps Centre secured third place.
The Army Chief congratulated the winners and lauded their skills.
The present high ranked officials, retired army men and citizens participated the ceremony in larger numbers.
