Rawalpindi (November 5, 2017): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday arrived in Tehran on an official visit, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the visit, army chief will meet Iran’s civilian and military leadership , DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said in a tweet.

On October 31: Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, the visiting ambassador and the COAS discussed different issues of mutual interests.
Focus of the discussion remained on regional security, Pak-Iran border management, visits and exchanges in defence.The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s contributions for peace and stability in the region and pledged to keep working for better relations between two brotherly countries.
