KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators Coach Moin Khan has stated that arrival of Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson in Pakistan for Karachi-leg of the fourth edition of HBL PSL has increased hopes for Quetta to clinch the title this time around.
While addressing a presser in Karachi, Moin Khan spoke on exclusion of the national team as well as Quetta’s captain Sarfraz Ahmed from the press conference.
He claimed that it was the decision of team management which will get revealed on the field.
“Team management decided not to let Sarfraz hold the press conference. It’s all part of the plan which will get unravelled in the field. Your game plan is seen only in wins, no one sees your gameplan when you lose”, said Gladiator’s coach.
He added that Shane Watson is in good form which will help Quetta Gladiators in the title race.
When asked a question about team skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, Moin Khan said that he has been continuously playing cricket for the last six months.
He said, “He’s been playing for last six months continuously, He needs rest which he will be given in the upcoming home series with Australia, however, his presence is necessary for Quetta Gladiators”.
