As you sow so shall you reap: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE: Vice-President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday condemned the recent hike in the petroleum prices.

Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter and criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government for hiking the petroleum prices.

She wrote on her timeline; “The ‘Nalaiq-e-Azam’ who used to say that the hike in petroleum prices is a result of the corruption of the government and he is now suppressing masses with his incompetence.”

“As you sow so shall you reap,” she added.

A day earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government dropped petrol bomb on masses before Eid-ul-Fitr by increasing the petrol price up to Rs4.26 per liter for the month of June.

The government has increased fuel prices on the recommendation of the Oil and Regularity Authority (OGRA).

The price of petrol has gone up by RS4.26 per liter while prices of light speed diesel and kerosene oil rose by Rs1.68 per liter while the price of diesel increased by RS4.50.

These prices will be applicable from 12 am-midnight of June 01.

In its summary, OGRA had proposed an increase in the price of petrol by Rs9 to reach Rs116.95 per liter.
