Asia Cup: Pakistani Team Leaves For Dubai

Lahore (September 10, 2018): Pakistan cricket team just left for Dubai on Monday to participate in the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament.

The Pakistan squad under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed has departed for UAE from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal airport tonight. According to team administration, all selected players are completely fit and are in great physical condition.

They are determined for great performance in Asian event.Six-nation Asia Cup tournament will begin on September 15. Six teams participating in the tournament have been divided into two pools. Group A includes Pakistan, India and qualifier team of Hong Kong. Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Opening match will be played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Pakistan will play its first match on Sunday against qualifier team of Hong Kong. Important match of Pakistan with arch-rivals, India will be played on September 19, Wednesday.

Pakistan’s squad includes: Sarfraz Ahmed (Captain), Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan, Imam ul Haq, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Asif Ali, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Nawaz, Fahim Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Junaid Khan, Usman Shinwari, Shaheen Afridi.
