ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Special Assistant (PMSA) on information and broadcasting Dr. Fridous Ashiq Awan has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari interview was stopped as per the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority rules.
Narrating the reasons behind the PPP co-chairman interview went off the air; PMSA Dr. Fridous Ashiq Awan said that there were three reasons on which the interview stopped for airing on the private news channel.
A person who is in the NAB custody can’t give interview in the parliament with cameras while there is a need of Speaker National Assembly permission for bringing the cameras in the parliament and without the Speaker the cameras cannot be brought into the parliament.
She said that a place has been separated to talk with the media outside the parliament adding that Asif Zardari gave the interview by-passing the parliament rules.
When asked how Ahsan Ullah Ahsan interview went on air? On which she asked cross questions did he was in the custody of the NAB on 30-day remand? Did he give an interview in the parliament along with three cameras?
