NEW DELHI: At least 13 people were killed and over hundred injured as a passenger train derailed in southeastern India on Saturday night.
According to the details, seven coaches and engine of the Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Express derailed at 11 PM near Kuneru railway station in the Vizianagram district of Andhra Pradesh state.
The incident took place around 11 PM on Saturday when the train was leaving for Bhudaneswar. Officials said that four accident relief vans had been sent to the accident site and the reason behind the incident was yet to be ascertained.
