At Least 25 Dead In Peru As Bus Plunges Into Ravine

Lima (January 03,2018): At least 25 people were killed in Peru Tuesday when their bus plunged around 100 meters (330 feet) into a ravine after colliding with a truck, police said.

The accident took place on a coastal highway around 45 kilometers (25 miles) north of the capital Lima, said Colonel Dino Escudero, head of the police´s highway patrol division.Local police say so far 25 people have been found dead and 14 bodies have been sent to the morgue in the city of Huaral.
