Islamabad (May 24, 2018): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday exempted Chairman PTI, Imran Khan from appearing in court for the hearing of PTV, Parliament attack case
ATC judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard the case. The lawyers filed an exemption from hearing plea for Imran Khan and other suspects in the case.The court while approving the petitions adjourned the hearing till indefinite period. The judge remarked that the next date for the hearing will be announced later.
On May, 4 Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan was acquitted in the SSP Asmatullah Junejo attack case from the anti-terrorism court (ATC).
Judge of ATC, Shahrukh Arjumand acquitted Imran Khan from the SSP Asmatullah torture case in his judgement.

The PTI chief filed an application under section 265-K of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), requesting the court to acquit him in the case for lack of evidence.
