ATC Grants Bail To Prime Accused In Barrister Fahad Malik’s Murder Case

ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday accepted a bail plea of the prime suspect of the Barrister Fahad Malik’s murder case and ordered to release him for surety bonds of Rs0.5 million.

Prime accused of the Barrister Fahad Malik’s murder case has been ordered to release on a bail by an ATC. The court ordered him to submit a surety bond of Rs 0.5 million.

ATC’s Judge Justice Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard a case pertaining to the murder of the nephew of Federal Minister of Privatization Commission Muhammad Mian Soomro.

Accused suspects Raja Arshad, Raja Hashim and Noman Khokar appeared before the court and pleaded for bail. The court, however, accepted Raja Arshad’s plea for a surety bond of Rs 0.5 million and adjourned the case’s hearing till May 15.

To which, the mother of the murdered lawyer said that this is an injustice with us as murderers of her son are being released and requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice.

It is pertinent to mention here that Barrister Fahad Malik was murdered in the result of a minor dispute in Islamabad’s sector F-10 and a case was registered under anti-terrorism act in Shalimar police station.
