ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader and former senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan in Parliament and PTV attack cases in the next hearing.
As per details, an ATC in Islamabad heard a case pertaining to the cases of attacks on Parliament house and PTV headquarters in which PTI leaders Saifullah Niazi and Aijaz Chaudhry appeared before the court.
During the hearing, the court approves the immunity requests from appearing before the court by PTI leaders, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Jahangir Tareen and others. The court, however, has summoned the former senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on next hearing and issued a notice in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here the former senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan is already detained by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for an ongoing probe in a case pertaining to the possession of assets beyond his known source of income.
