ATTOCK: Police have apprehended the murderers of two doctors here on Tuesday.
Two doctors, who were abducted five days back from Fateh Jhang in Attock district, were found dead on Monday morning.
According to police, the bodies of the doctors were found from the Small Dam area in the district. “They were moved to a nearby medical facility for medico-legal formalities,” said a police official.
He said the deceased, identified as Dr Iftikhar and Dr Aziz, were abducted from Gali Jagir, adding that they hailed from Islamabad.
Dr Iftikhar had returned to Pakistan from the United States a few days back, said the official.
The official spokesperson of Jamat-e-Ahmadiyya confirmed that both doctors were murdered over a land dispute.
He took to Twitter and informed that it was a land dispute both were murdered by the land caretaker of Dr Iftikhar.
He wrote on his timeline; “Two Ahmadis Aziz Ahmed Tahir sahib & Doctor Iftikhar Ahmed sahib were abducted & then murdered by the land caretaker of Dr Iftikhar.”
