AUCKLAND: Armed police have cordoned off Auckland’s train station area after terror prevailed due to explosions were heard near the place.
Trains have been stopped and restaurants in the area have been shut. Police have asked everyone to evacuate the area as they push people further away from the scene.
A bomb disposal robot has been seen moving around the backpacks.
The bomb scare has engulfed the country after today’s heart-rending attack at two mosques in Christchurch which claimed lives of at least 40 people and sustained injuries to 20.
