Australia Hosts Asia-Pacific’s Largest Air Force Exercises

Web Desk (July 28,2018): Australia is hosting one of the Asia Pacific’s largest air force exercises, in which air force pilot from 16 nations will be participating.

4,000 personnel and 140 aircraft from around the world would take part in Exercise Pitch Black of Asia Pacific, over the next three weeks.

The training includes night flying and aerial refueling and enables different nations a chance to learn from each other and improve their force integration using one of the world’s largest training airspace areas.

The air forces involved in exercises are from the United States, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia.
