KARACHI: Super Model Ayyan Ali on Wednesday again moved to Sindh High Court for not removing her name from Exit Control List (ECL).
The high court had ordered Interior Ministry to remove the supermodel name from ECL. However, Interior Ministry filed appeal against the SHC verdict in the apex court which was rejected.
Despite that the Interior Ministry did not remove the name of Ayaam from ECL. On Wednesday the model filed petition in SHC against the Interior Ministry.
The court issued notices to Interior Ministry and other respondent on the petition of Ayaan Ali.
On Monday, the Supreme Court discarded the interior ministry’s appeal to keep model Ayyan Ali’s name on the Exit Control List (ECL) and upheld the Sindh High Court’s verdict to remove her name from the same.
Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, who headed the three-member bench that heard the appeal, had said it seemed as if the government wanted to keep the model in the country by hook or by crook.
