ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Alizada on Wednesday called on Defence Minister Pervez Khattak.
According to the spokesman of the defence ministry, the two countries discussed cooperation in the field of defence in the meeting.
Defense Minister Pervez Khattak said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan cooperation in the various field continued while Pakistan respected its positive relationship with the central Asian nation.
Pervez Khattak said that Pakistan wanted to extend its cooperation in various fields including defense with Azerbaijan.
The ambassador apprised the Khattak that Defence Minister of his country would visit the country from March 21 to 23 while the guest would also inspect Defense day parade on March 23.
Ali Alizada said that his country fully supported and endorsed Pakistan point of view on Occupied Kashmir.
