LAHORE: Angered by bad traffic situation in the city Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif asjked why the commuters have to wait for hours that despite widening of the roads in all big cities of the province including Lahore.
Chairing a meeting to review improving traffic system in all the big cities of the province he further expressed anger at failure to take measures to improve the traffic system’s workings and traffic management and enginerring systems.
Technical, management, and latest relevant measures have to be taken to improve the traffic system, he said. Punjab government does not lack resources and the relevant departments have to awaken from deep slumber to improve the traffic system for the convenience of the people, he warned.
Shahbaz also expressed anger at timely accusation of machines for rotary parking and called lack of monitoring by relevant departments in this regard sorrowful.
