Peshawar (July 23, 2017): One security personnel was martyred and another was injured in a blast has near FC checkpost in Khyber Agency.
The security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation.

According to official sources personnel of Khasadar Force Riaz was martyred and sepoy Saqib was seriously injured in a powerful blast of explosives fitted by militants in Sheen Drang Akakhel area of Khyber Agency.
It may be mentioned here that yesterday the security forces successfully had cleared the highest and roughest mountain top Brekh Muhammad Kandao in Khyber Agency near Pak-Afghan border during Operation Khyber IV.
According to ISPR, many terrorists were killed during the operation while few others had managed to flee to Afghanistan.
During the operation, the hideouts of terrorists were dismantled and a cache of IEDs, arms and ammunition were also recovered.
After clearing the top the forces have established posts on over 12,000 feet High Mountain riddled with thick forestation. The mountain top was being used as main observation point and its base as transit and storage point.
