Bakhtawar, Aseefa Strongly Condemn Arresting Party Activists

ISLAMABAD: The two sister of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday condemned the act of arresting their party workers by the Capital Police.

Bakhtwar took to social media and condemned this non-democratic act of arresting people by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government.

She tweeted on her timeline; “Has the State declared war against its own citizens? Police, Rangers, prison vans, water cannons.”

“Just for @BBhuttoZardari appearance at NAB! Welcome to Imm the Dim’s democracy. Dartay hain Tabdelee walay,” she added.

In another tweet, she criticized NAB for giving relief to the Prime Minister Imran Khan and his sister.

The elder sister of Chairman PPP said, “President @AAliZardari just left for court. My whole family on trial but Imran & his sister’s given NRO?”

On the other hands, the younger sister of Chairman PPP Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also criticized such non-democratic act of the administration.

Aseefa tweeted on her timeline; “Yeh Hai Tabdeeli ?! NAB ka Kala qanoon can’t be washed away by these water cannons, being used on innocents. Jiyalay phaansi say nahin daray toh paani say kya darain gay?”

Earlier today, several Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and police officials scuffled at federal capital’s D-Chowk on occasion of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s appearance Before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Headquarters.

According to PPP spokesperson, police have arrested numerous supporters and resorted to using water cannons and tear gas against the Jiyalas.
