Balloting For Allotment Of Additional Hajj Quota To Be Held Today

ISLAMABAD: After the increase in ‘Hajj Quota’ by Saudi Arabia the government of Pakistan on Saturday announced the balloting process for distributing an additional amount of quota among the successful applicants will take place on Monday (today).

As per details, the second round of balloting will take place today in which as much as 10,000 seats will be distributed among the successful applicants.

According to the ministry of religious affairs, the applicants who have withdrawn their paid amount will also be eligible in the balloting process. In case of selection, they will be asked to submit their amount within four days.

However, no application will be entertained, the ministry told.

It is pertinent to mention here that FM Shah Mehmood on February 20, announced that the Saudi government has increased the ‘Hajj Quota’ of Pakistan.
