QUETTA: Judge of Accountability Court Abdul Majeed Nasir handed former Advisor Finance Balochistan Khalid Lango to NAB on 14-day remand in Balochistan mega corruption case. Khalid Lango said that he was satisfied with NAB’s investigations. The media is present in the court, I am unable to tell certain things, he added.
NAB’s lawyer telling the court that additional time is needed for vital evidences and investigations asked for further remand while Khalid Lango could remain in NAB’s custody for 90 days constitutionally.
Lango’s counsel Baz Muhammad Kakar argued that his client is member of assembly and since the budget session proceedings at the assembly are underway his absence could negatively effct development projects. No new important thing has come up during one month denetntion of my client and the arrested accused Saleem Shah has leveled any accusation and thus no further remand be given, Lango’s counsel argued.
Granting NAB’s plea the court handed Khalid Lango to NAB on remand till July 4.
