Islamabad (September 17, 2017): Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that he and his family have not accepted the verdict in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case, adding that the party has prepared appeal against ATC verdict.

According to details, Former Attorney General Sardar Lateef Khosa and his team will appeal on behalf of the heirs of Benazir Bhutto.
The party challenged the ATC verdict of August 31 in the appeal. It must be pertinent to mention that ATC had released acquittal orders of five accused in Benazir murder case.

Those acquitted accused included Rifaqat Hussain, Hasnain Gul, Abdul Rasheed, Aitzaz Shah and Sher Zaman.
The court had sentenced police officers Saud Aziz and Khurram Shahzad 17 years each in prison in two different Sections, as well as a fine of 0.5 million rupees.
