Bearish Trend Continues at PSX as 100 Index Sheds 274 Points

KARACHI: The KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Thursday as it came down by 274 points to close at 39,294 points.

On the other hand, With Rs150 per tola and Rs128 per 10 grams rise, the price of gold has gone up to Rs68,600 and Rs58,813 respectively in the local market.

The rise in gold prices in Pakistan was seen after an increase in rates by $1 in international market putting its value to $1287 per ounce.

The value US Dollar to PKR decreased by 8 paisa in the interbank market before closing at Rs138.72, whereas the rate of Dollar in the open market remains at 139.
