KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained bearish on Friday as KSE-100 index closed today at 36,122 points as compared to 36,547 points on the last working day with a negative change of 434 points.
The day started at PSX on a positive note but ended at negative.
Total 313 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 84 recorded gains and 211 sustained losses whereas the share price of 18 companies remained unchanged.
On the other hand, the value of the US dollar increased by 11 paise on in the interbank market to reach Rs141.48.
The gold price in Pakistan has slashed by Rs300 per tola. After a decrease of Rs 300, the price of per tola has become 68,000.
Decrease also witnessed in 10 gm gold prices which reduced Rs 256 and turned 58,300 rupees. On the other hand, the gold price in the international market has become 1,270 dollars an ounce now.
