Karachi (March 17, 2018): Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani on Saturday responding to criticism from former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that he was his elder and could say anything against them.
He said this after laying floral wreath at the mausoleum of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah along with the deputy chairman Senate. He said that they would fulfill their constitutional duty in a better way.

“The party who had better numbers will be able to occupy the slot of the opposition leader in Senate,” he said adding that he would work along with all the senators for improving the working of the upper house of the parliament.
He also expressed hope that other parties in the senate would also cooperate with him.
Talking to media, deputy chairman senate Salim Mandviwalla said that the political coalitions would grow before the upcoming general elections rather than going down.
