Bhawalpur (October 4, 2017): Four judges of the Bhawalpur bench namely Justice Malik Shahzad, Justice Malik Khalid Mahmood, Justice Tariq Iftikhar, and Justice Muzammil Akhtar Sharif of the Lahore High Court visited the Central Jail here.
During their visit the honorable justices of the Lahore High Court’s Bhawalpur bench checked the internal workings of the jail and also inspected the PCO as well as women wards where impressed by the artifacts made by women inmates by hands lauded the craftsmanship.

The honorable judges also inspected the jail hospital and appreciated the medical facilities available there. The cleanliness of the inmates kitchen was also checked and so was the quality of the food prepared there.
The justices also visited grain warehouse, police lockups, and death penalty blocks.
The visiting judges also visited the factory where inmates work and appreciated the works in various departments.
The august judges listened to inmates problems and issued on the spot orders.
