KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday ordered the Sindh government to consult all the welfare organizations and generous people for chalking out a joint strategy for helping the needy in wake of the ongoing lock-down for containing the coronavirus.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired a meeting to form a mechanism for helping people which rely on daily wages in wake of lock-down while Chief Minister Sindh briefed him about the performance of the Sindh government in the fight against coronavirus.
Bilawal Bhutto directed the provincial government to reach doorstop of the every needy while he said that we have to make a mechanism that the government along with the welfare organization and generous people could help out the deserved people through a single platform.
He said that the Sindh government has made a highly effective and the best system for helping the needy people while the welfare organizations can be more effective by becoming the shoulder of the provincial government .
The PPP Chairman urged the masses to help the needy wherever they found adding that we have to fight the crisis emitted out of the coronavirus by joining hand together.
The young Chairman said that Sindh government must have a advance plan in case of a extension in the lock-down.
He stressed the masses to follow the lock-down as it is a only way to combat the global epidemic.
Bilawal directed the government to continue the screening process of the people for the virus as much as they can while he said that doctors and medical staff are putting their best efforts against the virus.
He also saluted the all health officials, professionals, medical workers fighting against the virus keeping their selves on the front.
