KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will attend Sindh Assembly session of Wednesday (today) where he will meet under-arrest Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.
On February 20, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) apprehended Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani from a five-star hotel of Islamabad over charges of financial irregularities in government funds.
PPP chairman will meet Agha Siraj to express solidarity with him as he is considered among close aides of Zardari family.
Sources have stated that Bilawal will hold a press conference at Assembly corner at 3 pm.
On this occasion, strict security measures have been taken, Sindh Assembly Secretariat stated. He added that commandos have been deployed inside and all around the provincial assembly prior to Bilawal Bhutto’s arrival.
“No one except parliamentarians and media representatives will be allowed to enter premises of the Assembly”, Sindh Assembly Secretariat said.
