Islamabad(May 28, 2017): The joint investigation team (JIT) on Panamagate has summoned Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to appear before the investigation team today.
According to the details, the JIT, probing offshore assets of ‘Sharif family’ in compliance with the orders of Supreme Court, summoned Hussain Nawaz today in order to interrogate.

Earlier, Hussain Nawaz had submitted a five-page application in Supreme Court’s registry (SC) raising objections on impartiality of two members of joint investigation team (JIT), constituted to probe Sharif family’s offshore assets.
He requested the top court to issue appropriate orders regarding his apprehensions about the impartiality of two members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), tasked to probe the Sharif family’s offshore assets.

The application stated that Bilal Rasool, a member of JIT from Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), has inclinations towards a political party as he is real nephew of Mian Muhammad Azhar, who alongside his immediate family members, is a fervent aide of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
