Blind Persons Protest in Lahore for Increase in Jobs Quota

Lahore (October 09, 2017): Dozens of visually impaired persons blocked the roads outside Press Club in Lahore on Monday, demanding the Punjab government to regularise the blind ad hoc employees and increase our job quota.

Demonstrators staged a protest in the Lahore, they were appealing to the Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take notice of their demands and to redress their grievances.

Protesters demanded for permanency of their jobs despite of daily wages. Yesterday, they met CCPO Lahore who ensured to make all of these employees permanent but their demand has not been fulfilled yet.

Moreover, protesters complained that they have not been paid for last 4 months.
