Bodies of Couple, Daughter Swept Away by River

Azad Kashmir (November 17, 2017): A couple and their daughter were swept away by currents after the car they were riding in fell in River Neelum here.

Meanwhile, in various accidents, including the one mentioned above, across the country four people lost their lives while another 11 including women and children were injured.

The tragic accident occurred at Sandaq area close to Kundshahi area when the family was on its way to Neelum Valley from Muzaffarabad.

The bodies of the couple and their daughter, who died when their car fell into a ravine, were swept away by the currents of River Neelum.

A five-year child was killed by a speeding tractor trolley in Gulshan Town area in Chunian city of Punjab. Rescue team shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

In another accident, eight people including children and women were injured when a speeding van turned turtle in Kandhkot in Sindh province.Three persons were injured in a two-bike clash on Lodhran Road in Jalalpurwala area.

Coming back to the accident pertaining to falling of car in Azad Kashmir it may be mentioned here that this is the second accident during last nine days: On November 8 three persons including a woman were killed and another four were injured when a passenger car fell into a ravine near Nainsukh area of Hattian Bala, Azad Kashmir.

Three victims had died on the spot. They were identified as Fazil Abbasi, Tazeem Akhtar, and Fatima.
